The genre is fantasy, Greek mythology

 main actors are : Logan Lermon, Alexandra Daddario and Brandon T. Jackson

In the beginning Percy Jackson finds out he is a demigod, son of Poseidon and he gets to set a quest to find Zeus' missing lightning bolt. In the middle he finds out who stole the lightning bolt and go against monsters. In the end everything is ok and Zeus got his lightning bolt back.

• the main events are Percy is a son of Poseidon , he gets a quest  going all around America, then goes to the underground and returns the master bolt

if the events happened in a different order, Percy wont know what  and where a lightning bolt is therefore failing the quest and not retrieving the bolt.

we know the film is in America because of the empire state building

The  story is about Percy Jackson and 2 friends on a quest to retrieve a stolen lightning bolt.

the story probably takes about a month, giving they have to find out Percy is the son of Poseidon and the 14 day limit of the quest.

Giving that i read the books, before the story began Percy was transferring from school to school because he is a 'troubled' kid

After the end of the story Percy goes back to  school for his education.

This story reminds me of other stories because it has bad enemies and an adventure.

I would like the story to continue by Percy staying long-term at camp and training.

 

This film has a linear narrative 

Equilibrium: Everything is normal and Percy a troubled kid with ADHD and dyslexia has trouble with staying in 1 school for a year

Disruption: his father claims him as a son of Poseidon meaning that gods are real... unfortunately that means monsters are as well

recognition of disruption:

Zeus's lightning bolt has been stolen and if no one finds it world war 3 will start because zeus believes that Poseidon has used Percy (his new claimed son ) to steal the bolt for him

attempt to solve:

Percy gets set a quest with two others to find and retrieve the bolt and return it to Zeus, unluckily facing monsters on the way

New equilibrium: 

they returned the lightning bolt back to Zeus and everything is normal , well not for long anyway...
